It was started in 2004 by professionals within the investment industry that have a genuine desire to provide an independent forum dedicated to this specialist area. Its aim is to promote investment performance analytics as its own unique discipline in the finance world and encourage its development around the globe. Visitors are free to share their ideas and opinions about any topic relating to investment performance analytics. It does not have any affiliation with any software companies, third party providers or site sponsors listed on their site. In addition, the site is funded entirely by a group of private investors. Project Objective The prime objective of the project was to develop and implement new features for the site www.investment-performance.com with a secondary objective being the day to day maintenance of the site. The client wanted to have a clear and easy to use navigation structure in the existing website as well as a global look and feel to the home page with articles, publications, journals etc. They wanted to add certain features like the creation of a customer interface for all the related information available, increasing user communication by including forums and a dedicated jobs section for employers and employees. Solution Provided The refurbished web site with new and advanced sections provided for the features and the functionalities that the client was looking for. A more professional and business oriented website to provide a better experience for its users was provided to the client. GrayCell has been maintaining the site for the past year.
